About the LSLNCCA

Beginning in June 1980, the Lesser Slave Lake North Country Community Association (LSLNCCA) is made up of people from a wide variety of backgrounds who have come together to work towards common goals.

Projects operated under the auspices of the Association include The North Country Fair, The North Country School, The Land, and the Driftpile River Riparian Project.

Some of the objects of the LSLNCCA include, but are not limited to:
•Provide musical, dramatic and other entertainment.
•Use Association lands, buildings and infrastructure for the good of the community.
•Demonstrate and promote the use of alternate energy systems
• Help foster respect for self, family, community and Earth.
• Help foster opportunities for volunteer involvement.
• Promote and encourage appreciation of the northern boreal forest.

About the North Country Fair

What is the North Country Fair?
Great music, rustic camping, and a beautiful Boreal forest venue wrapped in the Driftpile river. Delicious food, craft vendors, workshops and children's activities.
The solstice sun barely sets, and the music plays on till dawn
